The Alloy Worship Unit is a Special Boss Monster found only on Siren's Call. The Unit is summoned by destroying 6 Alloy Vulture nests found throughout the map. After a short while, the Unit will be summoned. Defeating the Unit will complete the Guidance Offline challenge and unlock the Loader.

Skills & Behavior[edit | edit source]

Alloy Supercharged Shot[edit | edit source]

A charge shot where it will fire six light blue orbs at the player in either a horizontal or vertical line, that then explode in a small area upon colliding with an entity or surface dealing 100% damage each. Each explosion also leaves behind a small circle that constantly pulses for 5 seconds dealing 10% damage per pulse.

Each shot has a Proc Coefficient of 1.0, while each pulse has a Proc Coefficient of 0.2.

Solus Probe Launch[edit | edit source]

Its second ability is to summon 3 Solus Probes, which it does at random intervals.

Alloy Supercharged Detonation[edit | edit source]

After dropping below 50% of its maximum health, the Alloy Worship Unit will then begin to periodically gain a massive shield equal to its maximum health for around 5-10 seconds. During this period, around 2-6 large blue circles will appear on the ground near random opponents, applying the Slow50 debuff. These circles explode after a delay of approximately 5 seconds, dealing 400% damage in a very large area to any players left inside the circles and launching them into the air.

Each explosion has a Proc Coefficient of 1.0.

Tips[edit | edit source]

  • It is recommended that you stay off the ground for most of the fight due to the large area that the Alloy Worship Unit can cover with its attacks.
  • Destroy Solus Probes shortly after they spawn as to not allow them to become a large problem during the fight.
  • Do not underestimate the damage of the orbs attack (Alloy Supercharged Shot), it can instantly kill even a high hp player if multiple orbs hit.
    • For melee characters such as Mercenary and Loader, this attack can be extra dangerous due to the close range of the boss. Be careful when standing on top of the Alloy Worship Unit, this attack can easily catch you off guard and kill you.
    • As Mercenary, Blinding Assault can knock the Alloy Worship Unit into the terrain dealing very high damage. (This is much harder but still possible in 1.0)
  • Because players are slowed when the AoE Circle attack happens, it is strongly recommended to save a movement ability for dodging that attack. An alternative is to jump high enough in the air as to not get hit, provided the player has jump-boosting items.
  • While it is using its AoE Circle attack, the boss gains an extremely powerful shield for a few seconds. As a result, most players without on-hit healing should take a short break from attacking the boss to instead focus on avoiding the attack.
  • Using the pillar at the middle of map, REX players can deal heavy damage firing Tangling Growth at the pillar with the Alloy Worship Unit on the other side. If it's close enough, Tangling Growth will pull the Alloy Worship Unit in and smash it into the pillar dealing damage.
  • Both the orb shot attack and the detonation circle attack can be shot down by Captain's Defensive Microbots, making this a relatively easy fight for him; especially with sufficient attack speed.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Upon defeat, the Alloy Worship Unit will drop a legendary item for each player in the game around the central pillar. The item dropped will be the same for all players. This can be interpreted as the guaranteed legendary item for Siren's Call, as the other Stage 4 level Abyssal Depths has a guaranteed spawn point for a Legendary Chest under some rocks.
  • Though the boss will show up in the list of objectives for the stage, you are not required to defeat the Alloy Worship Unit to access to the Teleporter and/or Portals of any kind.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The name of this enemy seems to be in reference to the Alloy Vultures, since it is summoned by the destruction of their nests, has Alloy in its name, and its title is the 'Friend of Vultures'. This is further supported by its Lore entry, insinuating that something (almost definitely the Alloy Vultures) decorated and repaired the Alloy Worship Unit prior to becoming what it is currently, hence the name “Alloy Worship Unit” as it was worshipped by the Alloy Vultures.
