The Gesture of the Drowned is a new lunar item in Risk of Rain 2.

The first Gesture of the Drowned reduces equipment cooldown by half, but activates it as soon as it is ready.

The Equipment cooldown is determined by the formula cooldown * 0.5 * (1 - 0.15) ^ (amount - 1)

  • Only MUL-T's active equipment will be activated by this item, the secondary equipment will not be used until it is swapped to via Retool.       When the Tonic wears off, you have a 20% chance to gain a Tonic Affliction, reducing all of your stats by -5% (-5% per stack).
      (since the effect will never end, one will never be afflicted with Tonic Affliction, until you swap equipment)
