Movement Speed

From Risk of Rain 2 Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

The Movement Speed of a character is determined determined by four parts:

  1. The body stats
  2. Movement speed increases
  3. Movement speed slows
  4. Additional modifiers
    1. The stacking debuff from the floating bugs created by the Beetle Queen. This is called the BeetleJuice Debuff. This is equal to 1-(0.05*debuff count).
    2. If a character is weakened by REX, their movement speed is multiplied by 0.6.
    3. The Spinel Tonic.pngSpinel TonicBgLunar.pngSpinel Tonic.png60sGain a massive boost to ALL stats. Chance to gain an affliction that reduces ALL stats.
Drink the Tonic, gaining a boost for 20 seconds. Increases damage by +100%. Increases attack speed by +70%. Increases armor by +20. Increases maximum health by +50%. Increases passive health regeneration by +300%. Increases movespeed by +30%.

When the Tonic wears off, you have a 20% chance to gain a Tonic Affliction, reducing all of your stats by -5% (-5% per stack).
gives either a buff, or depending on the affliction count, a debuff.
      • If the Tonic is active, the movement speed is multiplied by 1.3
      • Otherwise, the movement speed is multiplied by 0.95^tonic afflictions

The final movement speed of a character is body stats * (increases/decreases) * BeetleJuice debuffs * Weakened * Spinel Tonic

Body Stats[edit | edit source]

The body stats of a character are the base movement speed (7 for all Survivors) plus the level movement speed (0 for all Characters). All of this is increased by the sprint multiplier if the character is sprinting. The sprint multiplier is 1.45 or +45%.

body stats = (base Movespeed + level Movespeed * levels beyond the first) * sprint multiplier
